Default 2015 gs350 f-sport brake noise

I have a 2015 gs350 f-sport after replacing the pads (at a trusted shop) with dealer pads i started getting a high pitched whistle during braking. I spoke with the dealer who said I also need to resurface the rotors. I had them resurfaced and the noise went away only to return a few days later.

Has anyone had this issue? Should I not have used OE pads?

Trying to find a viable solution. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

well known issue on the brake pads, that's why people go aftermarket brake pads

Just replaced my front pads and rotors with OEM parts from the lexus dealer. No issues in the last 700+ miles. Were the pads bed in properly after being installed?

It's worth it to try aftermarket pads. Many of us go the ceramic route to reduce the brake dust. I love my Akebonos, zero issues.

Are the front Akebono ceramic pads smaller in surface area than the OEM F Sport front brake pads or are they exactly the same size?
