Default Lease update 2016 model

Today I got a call from a guy who looked at my 2015 on Swapalease that I am looking to get rid of. The payment is $475 a month. So he went to Lexus of Winter Park got a 2016 GS350, $10000 off and walked out at $589 with only the first payment due. Their website has a $689 a month/0 down offer. I guess thats pretty good. But was wondering if he got mine at $475 which ends on 10/2018, he could have gotten a 2018 with the 2019's coming out probably cheaper? Any thoughts guys?

$589 with zero down payment is really good for a '16 GS350. Even more amazing if it's an F Sport. It's a newer body style that I doubt will have much change come 2019. He also gets a brand new car with I'm assuming zero mileage. From my perspective, I'd say he chose the better option.

He should have gotten $15000 off.
2016's are being dumped at that price due to declining sales and 2017's on the lot.

There's very few left out there
