Iphone audio connect problem via USB
Hello everyone,
I am new to the forum and new to owning a 2016 GS350. I don't have any problem connect my iphone 6 over bluetooth. But when I try to connect my iphone through USB to have better sound quality on the ML, I cant see the artist or title and I can't change track through the steering control compared to when i'm connected via bluetooth. I was hoping has anyone on this forum come across this issue and if there was a way to fix it?

Are you using the cable that came with the iPhone or an aftermarket one? On macrumors I read that something like 90% of usb to lightning cables on amazon were fakes. Here it is...

try a different cable. Those lightning cables have chips in them that are proprietary to Apple and thus require a license fee to paid. Thats why most cables are fake and may not work right in your GS. Hope this is an easy fix for you...
