Anyone knows what's that part mount on the windshield?

Hey guys. I plan to hardwire the radar detector to the rear view mirror. So I tear apart two thing that mount on the windshield. One of them should be the rain sensor but I have no idea what is the other one (in the red circle of the pic)

Anyone knows that? Thx!

Could it be Thermistor #10?

#8 is rain sensor

I believe that is a humidity sensor for the interior climate control, it's in the manual somewhere.
