Extended Warranty on CPO GS350 F sport
So i recently purchased a new (to me) GS350 F sport.
The mileage age was a little high so as part of the purchase they extended the bumper to bumper warranty to 8 years after it was produced.
Im finalizing the deal on Monday and I am asking the salesperson for some type of documentation citing that I do have this. His response has been "it gets put into the system."
Thats great but the cynic in me wants something that says I have this so in case it isn't inputted I'm not SOL. Is there a specific document I should be asking for?

I received a CPO packet when I bought my car. Had the inspection report and details on the extended 2 year warranty (6 years total). I later received something in the mail about this as well.
You definitely should get something in writing about the extra 2 year (8 year total) warranty. It shouldn't be hard for the finance guy to find or write something up on his end. If he doesn't want to then it seems a bit shady, I would threaten to walk away. You don't want to be **** out of luck in your final years 2 years if/when something does go wrong, so it's best to go through the trouble now and get a written contract.
If you don't mind me asking, what's the mileage and price?

Congrats! It sounds like they are giving you more than just the standard CPO warranty if it goes to 8 years beyond the production date. That would be a VSA (platinum/gold) type extended warranty that goes to 2021. Typically, you have to pay an additional fee for this on top of the standard CPO warranty which would have extended your warranty only until 2019.
As mentioned, the finance guy or pre-owned sales person/manager should be able to provide you with documentation regarding the details of your specific warranty. Require it as part of your purchase checklist to be sure about what you are getting...
