Default front parking sensor

HI there, my front right parking sensor seems to be not working...i could not find anything for the 4th gen regarding this.

does anyone have a part number and a how to? hopefully i don't have to take this to the dealership!

I've been looking into this because my front left center sensor is throwing a code.

It seems the bumper cover does in fact need to come off, that it is possible to see but not access the sensors with the cover in place.

Sensor part numbers are here. $218 each seems nuts to me, seen it higher other places.

Used run in the $60-70 range.

I'm going to need a better reason to take the cover off...like a grille mod or something.

Do you know if your vehicle has been hit? My poor Pumpkin got a hit and run which cause the sensor to be off it's calibrated setting ( how it was placed) so I had to fix it at the dealers.

The sensor in question has a tiny rock chip, which I have read can be enough to cause a problem. You can barely see it.

If they really are that sensitive, they should have a sacrificial protective layer because the fronts of cars all get blasted with things, esp given the replacement effort.
