Default 13-15 GS looking outdated?

What do you guys think? No big spindle grill like the new ones.

Easily remedied by vinyl wrapping the center portion of the grille with black.

Wouldn't say it looks outdated per se IMO. The 13-15 looks a bit more "typical" or "classy" and the 16+ looks a bit more "futuristic" and "stands out"

Although I do like the 16+ designs, I think that both models look very sharp, as long as the 13-15 is also in good condition and cared for (i.e. paint buffed, esp for darker colors, waxed, wheels cleaned, etc)

Also, the GS is really not a popular model, and even in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area, where the mean income in many areas easily exceeds $100k, there are not that many GS's out there. That definitely helps with making the 13-15 not look so dated. If the GS was as popular as say a 13-15 Acura RDX vs 16+ RDX, then I'd probably feel differently lol

Maybe it does from the front. But I definitely think the back taillights of the 13-15 is better looking than the newer model.

I was in the market for a new car this past November and specifically went with the 2015 GS F-sport for the pre-refresh look. To me it is more conservative/classy while still having an aggressive/sharp look. I prefer the non-spindle grill, the way the daytime running lights are set up and the rear lights on the 13-15. The things that I liked on the 16+ models were the Ultrasonic Blue Mica color and the new electronic dash, but not enough for me to go 2016.

This is just beautiful to me (mine is also Nebula Grey but with stock f-sport wheels)

I agree I love the styling. I was considering the same year 5 series and IMO the Lexus looks wayyy better to me in every way. I think the car will age really well. Don't even get me started on the 3 series styling, awful imo.

Hmmm... I actually think the 3 series looks pretty nice. Just my honest opinion.

I love the NG color on the 13-15 GS but I couldn't find it with the options I needed and had to get the PS. Which looks ok imo.

Frankly it doesn't bother me if it is outdated, though I don't think it is. I love it and that's all that matters.

@JDR76: Nice ride!

I agree with the comments - the 13-15 GS is a handsome looking ride...clean lines and curves. The '16 grilles on the ES/GS/IS seem to take the once "radical" spindle grille into a new, slightly edgier form factor. The nose of the '16 GS sticks out a bit. Both styles look good...i'm still partial to the pre-refresh though.

Yeah, I sometimes regret I got White. When I see the Atomic Silver, you can see all the beautiful lines, curves and shadows a lot better. Especially from the front F-Sport Bumper.

it looks outdated. Much prefer the new grill, rear lights, rims, interior.. To me every car model refresh should/gonna look better, just takes time for everyone to get use to it
