Dilemma: CPO 2013 vs 2014 GS350
I am actively searching for a CPO-ed GS350.
Budget is around $30k and I have found myself in a dilemma.
Do I buy a 2013 Lexus GS350 F sport or a 2014 "regular" GS350?
I know there are some improvements to the 2014 GS350 (auto folding mirrors, auto heated/ventilated seats, HID/LED headlights, etc.).
Is there anything else I am missing? Are the improvements to the GS in 2014 so significant that i should focus solely on the 2014?

Go for a 13 luxury if you can find it...if not, fsport. The 6-speed from the 13s is preferred for spirited driving. The fsport has better aftermarket than the base (or luxury for that matter). I have a 13 luxury and cosmetic mods (lips etc) are non-existent...i do wish i had the larger fsport front brakes though. But I have factory fogs.

I was in this exact dilemma and ended on the 2014 F-Sport. My favorite feature is the auto climate seats, 19" wheels, and power folding mirrors. 8-Speed is good, but takes some time to get the downshifts down due to it needing to skip 2-3 gears at times. The base GS looks like a grandpa car in my opinion, but to each their own.

Thanks for the feedback everyone!
I am looking at AWD so the 8 speed auto doesn't apply.
It also seems as though F sports have more miles than a newer GS which complicates things. .

The miles shouldn't be a big issue if you're buying CPO from a Lexus dealer unless your talking crazy road warrior miles. The L/Certified warranty is worth it. That's why I bought my first used car. I just got a '14 F-Sport and I love it. Navigation sucks but I don't use it anyway. Get the F-Sport!

Go with the F Sport (I have the 2015). After having the car a couple of months I am still very impressed about the "Jekyll & Hyde" nature of the car. I really like driving it in sport or sport+ mode but decided to drive it in normal mode all of last week to get a real mpg figure for my driving. So, last week I got used to normal mode and the car is smooth and had very luxurious handling/ride. Then today I put it in Sport mode and wowsers, it turns into a different animal with a really cool growl and I just want to drive fast all the time. I love this car!

I had the similar decision to make, go for a newer base or '13 F sport / Lux. I couldn't find a F sport with options (BSM/HUD/ML), so I went with a loaded Lux and plan on adding the F sport bumper later. If you're getting an AWD version, then there's less difference between the Fsport vs Lux then the RWD variants.

I'd go with the Luxury Package over the F Sport, just to get the more adjustable driver's seat, semi-aniline leather and rear passenger controls for hvac/audio. You might even find a Lux Package with heated rear seats, if that matters to you.

F-Sport all the way! I have the '13 GS, but I do wish it had auto-folding side mirrors. Everything else about it is awesome though!

Thanks for all the advice!
For those suggesting a Luxury model- any advice on how to find these cars?
Using autotrader & cars.com there either a.) aren't any or b.) the dealerships don't highlight the luxury package in the listings.
