Default Slight jerk when coming to a stop

I noticed when my foot is on the brake right before coming to a stop I can feel the car jerk/slight clunk and this is enough to where its noticeable every time. I have a 2016 awd Gs350 Fsport, I'm wondering if anyone else notices this on their car?

I have the 6 speed transmission

I think it is the car downshifting to help reducing the speed. It is normal.

I noticed the car down shifts but I have never driven a car that clunks right before coming to a stop

Does your car do this?

My car is 3is and it does the same. Both GS and 3is are actually the same car underneath.

My transmission does not exhibit any jerk or clunk whatsoever when braking, coming to a stop. It is smooth and silent.

I think its related to the 8 spd transmission in the 3is and 15+ GS350.

No jerk when coming to a stop when I had my 2015 or in my 2017.

OP, since you can easily recreate it, can you have some one help you make a vid of it?

Its something that you feel while sitting in the car but it would be hard to show on video.

Is yours the 6 speed awd gs?

Even though this happens when in D
what about manual mode? my car jerks when coming down to 1 st gear and its very noticeable

Basically, the final downshift back into 1st right before complete stop. I have 2013 6 spd and can feel it too. It is subtle, but it's there.

Yes and sometimes depending on how you apply the brake, lets say you stop fast before a red light you feel it much more. Its making me think why is every other gear downshifting smoothly but not 1st and whats causing it

Have you asked the dealer about it?

I would take it to your Lexus dealership and have them check it out. The jerk/clunk you are experiencing could be any number of things; from something inside the transmission itself to a broken mount or even excessive gear backlash in the differential.
