I have a 2013 and to be honest apart from 6 vs 8 speed transmission the car is basically the same.. it all boils down to what features you want and can find. For example.. I have a Luxury package with Linear Espresso wood interior. I love my GS but the only thing I regret not getting is Mark Levinson. I also would have loved to wait out for HUD & the power trunk on the 14' is nice. The mileage I wouldn't really worry about too much. I bought my car CPO in 2014 with 20k and I have over70k on it now and it's never given me an issue apart from one ghost misfire that I thin might have been bad gas. I never even took it to the dealer because it fixed itself.. literally check engine light went away and it never happened again. Find a car with the most amount of features you can at a price you are comfortable with and drive the F'in crap out of it.

I bought 2 months ago and went for features over the model year. Got luxury package with cold weather, pre-collision system with radar cruise, lane keep assist, mark levinson, etc. I would rather have 2013 loaded than 2014 with missing features.

I got a '13 Lux, the main thing I wish I had that's available on the 14 is the - Blind Spot Monitor adds Rear Cross Traffic Alert and power-folding mirrors -
Since I live and work in the city, these 2 features would be useful. My A6 had folding mirrors and I miss them when parking downtown.
Anyone have a pic difference of the '13 HUD vs '14 HUD?

I got the best of both worlds...I got a 2013 that wasn't leased until end of December that year. So essentially I got a 2013 with the miles of a 2014. Just under 33k miles on it now.

As noted above, the main difference is the 6 vs 8 speed. If you don't care about power mirrors and blind sport monitor, and are more into spirited driving you should probably lean towards the 2013. I have the 2015 with the 8 speed, and I sometimes like driving in manual mode, but it can get a little weird with all those gears (I feel like I have to down shift too much in a turn). My IS350 had the 6 speed and I felt like I always knew where the engine needed to be. I'm still trying to get used to this 8 speed. If you would never use the manual mode or have a less aggressive driving style you might enjoy the 8 speed more.

Not to be confused with Enform Remote, which was added in 2015. Enform Remote is a fee based subscription remote start system.
Enform includes things like Pandora, Destination Search, Saved Destinations (allowing you to send addresses from your phone to nav), Open Table, etc. I use mine every day.
