Hopefully they pay you for the LED headlights.

Definitely make sure the headlights are replaced. If anything when you get an estimate from the body shop make sure you point out they are the LED headlights and not the standard headlights. I would also bring a receipt for the lip and claim that too.

Usually with good insurance companies you shouldn't have a problem claiming aftermarket parts and getting what you had replaced.

Insurance should replace LED's especially since it's a factory part. Doesn't matter that it didn't come with the car from Japan it could have been installed by the dealer before delivery. Check your PM

Yeah, I'm really hoping that they will cover the LED lights. If not, then they should definitely pay for the original ones, which are not that much cheaper, since I have the night view option and for that to work you need to have special headlights. In all honesty, I would be super happy if this car gets totaled, but I don't think it's happening.

That does suck, I can tell you its def not getting totaled needs to be I think 70% of car value not like before. You always have a choice when it comes to parts just make sure your in contact with the shop most of the time.

Sorry to hear about it! I would just point out to them that it's the LED lights. They're not going to know any different.

$13.5k is my damage, I am $4,000 short of total loss. The adjuster said that if my pre-collision sensor did not survive, I would have total this car. I wish they would total it...

Thats the adjuster wait tell the shop gets it and they can help you find out any other damage unless the shop already took it apart.

Yep, there's no doubt about it - I can see the non-visible damage from here... I declare his car totaled. So be it...
