Default Help park assist

First time Lexus owner. Coming from Acura and BMW. Just bought 2014 gs350 nebula grey, So far in love with the car but I had this message prior to buying it and didn't think too much of it. But now it's bugging me, car is still under factory warranty but wasn't sure if this was an easy fix. Please help.. thanks.

Seeing it's showing all of them as having problems, I would first check the fuse for the parking sensors. Check your manual to see which fuse box it is in as our cars has quite a few fuse boxes

Was the car previously in an accident? Maybe the previous owner cheaply had it repaired and didn't reconnect the sensors?

Since it's under warranty, I'd say take it to the dealer. Might be a warranty repair.

take it to the dealer, it's under warranty. Sounds like the car was in a fender bender and they didn't reconnect the sensors.

I agree... Take it to the dealer because to me that's the easiest course of action and you're still under warranty.

Default Parking sensors.

That is a beautiful car! I love the Nebula Grey. As far as the parking system, it could be the computer for that system, a bad connection, or a bad sensor. My SAAB had one bad sonar sensor and the whole parking system shut down. Just let the Dealer fix it. Congrats on the beautiful ride.

Looks like your on a posting spree which indicates that you must just recently bought that car? Well anyways check to see if any of the sensors are covered in dirt or ice. A dirty sensor will disable its function. This same thing happend to me during a messy ice storm. Also if the bumper was recently repainted, if done wrong can also block the sensors ability to work. You should take it back to whomever sold you the car and get it fixed. If its still under warrenty than it should be fixed for free.

If the sensors were just dirty, the warning would state that they need to be cleaned, like this message I recently got while driving in snow:

Looks like OP tried to install the LS shifter **** but the leather boot doesn't fit. I think the base of the LS shifter **** is wider than the GS one.

It's a sure bet that GS 350 was not a CPO...

Somewhat related question. I've read that the parking assist can not only beep and show where you're close to something on the display, but to also hit a button to change the display to show exactly how far your car is from the objects. My car's parking sensors are working fine, but can't seem to find that option. Thanks.
