Winter MPG of my 2013 GS350 Fsport
Hi everyone, my car is 2013 GS350 Fsport AWD and it gets a relatively bad MPG in winter. The dashboard says 15 MPG in my daily use. I just drive in the small town with several traffic lights. And after driving fiercely for a while, the number becomes to 13.
I'm in central Illinois, the temperature outdoor is 23F now.
I just want to know the MPG of you guys' car. Is anyone in the same situation like me?

I reset mine before traveling from Philly to MD this week (highway) and now after a few days of commuting I'm still reading over 25mpg. My commute is 80% highway. '13 AWD (non F Sport). Previously I have ranged between 20 and 24mpg, and I have never driven in ECO.

I am not in the same temps as you, but I just purchased a 2013 with 56K miles, I am seeing about 17 mpg in mostly ECO mode, with temps in the 40s with driving conditions similar to you.

I am seeing about 18-20 with temps ranging from 20-40 degrees currently in my 2013 GS AWD in a mix of normal and eco modes. Mine is mostly highway but heavy traffic so a lot of stop and go!

So far, I've seen 17-19 in 40/60 City/hwy driving. I have a 14' RWD. Also warming up and idling kills mileage so if you are letting your car warm up at all, it eats up your MPG. Freeway driving bumps up to 25.

17-19 mpg in city stop-n-go driving is about what you can expect regardless of ambient temperature. Heavy on the gas pedal and it could drop to 13-15 mpg. Constant highway driving at typical speed limits on level roads will get it up to around 26-28 mpg...with a combination of highway and city driving somewhere in between.

That is disappointing, terrible V8 like fuel economy, worse then V8's in many cases. I see around 18mpg-20mpg with my V8 GS in winter in my driving though the winter has been more mild this year. I would figure a DI modern V6 with a 8 speed auto would get much better fuel economy then 13-17mpg. A LS460 generally gets better fuel economy, is bigger, has much more power, and is much smoother. I am leaning more to a LS460 then a GS for my next car even though I am kind of young for a LS, I don't want to go back to a 6 cylinder especially one that feels a bit lethargic for the power it is supposed to be making from test drives and gets V8 like fuel economy.

Current temperature for me is at 50 Fahrenheit. Showing 18.6 MPH which I hugely dislike. Came from a 2014 Q60 which averaged 21 MPG having more power, bigger fuel tank, and a less efficient transmission.

I get around 18 mpg average on my AWD GS. It's not great, but I don't mind. At the 9-10k miles per year I drive, even 5 mpg better on average would only save me about $300 for the whole year. It's not worth stressing over.
