First year of ownership problems?
Was curious what issues if any that you guys had first year of ownership.
I have 2016 GS 350 F-Sport 13,400mi as of 12-17-16 (purchased beginning of March)
1. Around 5,000mi driver/rear tweeter went bad.
2. Around 13,000mi passenger/rear door speaker went bad.
3. Around 13,000mi constant light metallic clanking sound from the front while turning at low speeds.
So problem #3 (according to Lexus) is a common complaint from new GS owners.
Lexus replacing front pads, rotors, and dust cover. Will follow up next week with results of repairs.
Complaints:
1. Ongoing glitch where maps work or don't work when reverse camera is on.
2. Third of backup camera screen is license plate.
3. Horrible glare on windshield from leather dash while driving when the sun is out.

2. I think they slightly pointed the camera downwards so you can see the bumper in the screen for reference. Better lower than too high because you can miss something on the floor when reversing.
3. Did you use some kind of cleaner that wasn't matte/low-shine? I haven't had this problem in my current or past GS.
The only problem I have experienced so far in my 2017MY in the 1700 miles I've had it is a small rattle coming from the left side of the dash when on bumpy roads. Will have the dealer take a look at 5K service.

Next week I'll have had my 15 for one year. I'm at 8800 miles. I haven't had any issues/failure/rattles to report.

The camera is vexed so even though that lower part of the screen sees a bit of plate, it also sees a lot of the rest.
Glare can be reduced with a lower res cleaner if you're using one. Try a non silicone based product. Either way, it's going to shine a little more than you want. Sunglasses help. If you have HUD, don't use polarized.
Sometimes you just get some issues. Work then out like you are. Lexus owes you a good product.

Dash has no product on it, I wipe it with a dry microfiber towel.
I typically listen at vol 25-30 ( I think max is 60 )
No.
It's not that I want, it's that sometimes screen is black sometimes there's a map there. Inconsistency is bugging me

I only asked if you had the Mark Levinson because i have read about speakers and subs going bad on that system.Did you compare the stock versus ML before buying yours?I am having that decision right now

If you like good audio then go for ML if you're ok listening music through your phone speaker, then don't get ML.
I didn't have an option for ML when I was buying it, so I didn't get it with my car.
I was actually in a pinch an bought the car sight unseen and I actually never even sat in it until I got the keys for it after signing the paperwork.
