Help Please: External Video In
Hello,
So I just swapped my 13 GS350 F sport for 16 GS350 f sport
the 16 has an option to play external video through AUX port and through IPOD/USB
after speaking to 2 dealers and 3 calls to Lexus North America i still can't figure out how to stream video from my iPhone.
has anyone done this?
Please se share whatever information you have

You need the 4 pole aux plug too...

Where there's a will there's a way (I'm sure you could find connections to make this happen) however, unless you have a bypass installed, the vehicle would still need to be stopped with parking brake applied.
Not promising with existing software. Lexus may release updates to include the iPhone 6, if they haven't already for the 15. You can check the updates page to see if your car has an update available:

just checked for updates, there are none
with the car stopped and parking brake on how can I play videos from my iPhone 6s?
I already ordered the aux cable that was mentioned before.
Just wondering how to do with USB
I'm going crazy trying to figure it out

According to the above illustration it says you need 1 cable that has the 4 pin AUX and the USB meaning it wants a lightning to usb and 4 pin AUX.
Am I reading this the right way ? If not please let me know if you guys can I appreciate the help

Yeah, that's a lot of hassle. If you're going through all of that mumbo jumbo, may as well get the BeatSonic/Prestigious Society hack as well so that the video screen can be used while driving. (For passengers only, of course).
