Default 2015 GS F-Sport Hub Tick.

Hey Guys,

currently, my car is at Lexus of Cerritos getting this issue addressed for a 3rd time.
While Turning at Low speeds(Under 5,10mph) i'll hear a continuous tick coming from the driver side hub. Whether i'm turning left or right it doesn't matter.
My initial advisor Sonia, let me know more than a few people are experiencing this issue as well. Have any of you experienced this at all, and if so, what has your outcome been?
Since Sonia is out on vacay, I was helped by another gentleman, who just called to inform me they'll be replacing my whole front brake setup(PADS,ROTORS) but I informed him since it's an F-Sport, shouldn't it get 2-piece rotors not one piece like the non F-Sport variants. I also just replaced my pads with the Akebonos which I REALLY LOVE and don't have all the brake dust like OEM, but I didn't want to mention that for warranty purposes.

So just looking to see if any of you can be of any help and have went through this because if the problem persists, i'm on the verge of escalation. That tick isn't only obnoxious but it's embarrassing!

I am really pissed about this 1 piece rotor SHiET tho.... have to say.

That's what i told the advisor, but he kept claiming the shop foreman said they need to replace them to with the single piece to eliminate the problem. So right now, i'll let it ride and wait for the notorious tick to come back because I know it will .

But, who else has experience the Ticking noise coming from the hub area itself, and what did you do? That's my (?)

I did, about a month ago, but the noise started back in February getting worse over time and this is the 3rd time to the dealer for this issue. The sound resembles one of those spinning prize wheels with a flexible clip that stops the wheel and land you on your prize. It's loud and annoying.

So i'm able to eliminate myself from the equation.

I started hearing this tick tick noise from the front passenger side since I changed my tires last month and now it's getting little louder. The wheels were removed once for tire change and once by me for doing brake fluids. Not sure if something caused it. I was scratching my head.

How long have you had your car?

I would ask them to remove the rotors and check for rust. It happened to both of my 2013 f sports. The also replaced the rotors under TSB.

Since Dec 2014.

Umm.. Actually the wheels were removed 4 times. 1 for front brake rotor resurface by dealer in Oct, 2 for tire change by Costco in Oct, 3 for changing springs by another shop in Nov, , 4 for changing brake fluid by me during thanks giving. But I started hearing the noise after the tire change.

Will it void your warranty for the brakes if Lexus replaces the rotors and calipers with ones not intended for your version of the vehicle?

<Rant On> If they want to give you downgraded parts, maybe they need to kick you back the value difference between the F-Sport and non-F-sport..... <Rant Off>
