Default Formula One Classic v 3M Colorstable Tint

I am going to get the windows in my 2016 GS350 F-Sport tinted and was wondering which film is better? I am not concerned with heat reflection as my car is indoors nearly all the time except when I drive.
Of course each installer recommends their own product and the price is virtually the same for both.
Thoughts?

I have no experience with the 3M tint products but have the FormulaOne Pinnacle series tint on my 4GS. I've had it now for a year and a half with no issues and am very happy with its performance, look and reliability thus far. I'd definitely recommend the FormulaOne brand.

I've also always felt like most of these brands of tint are essentially great as long as you have them done with someone who is a professional installer.

Tell us about your new GS! What color, options and dealer did ya buy it from? Living here in central Illinois my local dealer seldom stocks any GS's. Hope you enjoy your new ride!

both great products, the formula one is a better tint its ceramic
and has better heat rejection, in illinois formula one 40 would be great
i got my car done for 275 bucks but seen as high as 495 if you can get the m do it for 325 or under its a no brainer for formula one

I have had Formula One Pinnacle (not classic) on 3 cars now and have been very happy with it. It's a quality tint. My humble opinion is all quality tints are comparable unless you want to argue over a 2% delta.

The big difference is between lower grade and quality tints. Low grade tints will bubble, fade, peel, distort, etc. Both Formula One and 3M are quality films across their product lines.

the Classic series is not ceramic, it's regular dye.

I would go with the 3M if you are going to go with the lower-end models. If your car is not lease and plan to keep it awhile, you should go with the a higher-end.

This. I have had Llumar carbon tint on one of my cars for over 12 years. No issues whatsoever. I have put the same on three other cars. Again, no issues.

I recently had my car tinted, and went with SolarTech over the 3m. Definitely glad I went with it, but don't think you can lose with either option.
