Default Can someone provide pics of their tires?

Im in the market for a new set of tires and im on the fence about the Michelin Primacy MXM4, and the Pirelli Cinturato P7 Plus.
Not only am i interested in a smooth ride, but also being able to corner at high speeds when the mood hits. We also get unpredictable snow here so something that can handle those weather conditions.
The reason i'd like to see pics is because i also want a tire that looks sporty. I have Michelins on the car now, but i'd like to see what the Pirelli's look like on the 2013 or 2014 GS if anyone has them. Although they're a great tire, i hear that they're also a very ugly looking tire on the GS.

Thanks

You mean the tread or the sidewall? Also, what size wheels do you have?

I just recently installed Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06 tires on my 2016 F Sport, and it was between the Pirelli P7's and the Conti's. Similar to you, I wanted solid, reliable all-seasons for Mid-Atlantic weather, which can be rain, snow, whatever. Reviews between these two were essentially a toss up. Tire store said those would be their top choices for this car, and it was a toss up. I was leaning Conti, and it turned out they were cheaper to begin with, plus a $70 rebate on top of that, so I went Conti.

FWIW, I will post a couple of photos I have that show the new tires, which are 245/40/19. I don't know what types of photos you are looking for. I can't imagine the Pirellis would look ugly, but I can't vouch for that. The Conti's look pretty neutral I suppose.

I have the Primacy MXM4's never really thought of them as being ugly. In fact I don't recall ever seeing a "good looking" tire lol. If you want pic's let me know, I'll be more than happy to send you them.

I don't have pics, if you need them contact me and I will get some (just had knee surgery so getting a good angle is an issue). I have the Perrelli's and love them, quiet, comfortable, handle well but I don't push the car. This is the only tire I will use. Not sure it will be great in snow, I have AWD but am retired and just sit the bad weather out. I read some reports saying they were ok, maybe not great. I would put winter tires on if I was using them in bad weather.

Here are some with 18 inch tires. I was not able to get much better angles, hope these will do.

Thanks again guys. The 18's look totally different because the 19's are a lower profile.

I meant to say the sealer overinflated to 35 the other day due to winter approaching. I want to take down a bit but my knee is not haapy with that right now .

Ty BB11 for sharing those pictures!

I had been curious how the Pirelli P7's look on the GS as well.

Hope you knees feel better & you have a speed recovery! Appreciate the gesture.

35psi is just right isn't it? At least that's why on my door sill, but I have 19's.

Besides, it's only going to drop as winter approaches.

So which tires do y'all recommend that has a protector lip around the rim?

Thanks Im2, it is a slow process with the knees but at least not a replacement. The next one is just before Christmas and then they should be good for at least 10 more years....

Hope the pics help, I really like these tires. I hate bridgestones as I think they are just noisy tires, at least the ones I have driven on but on a different car.
