Back to Lexus after...years. Said bye to the Infiniti
I finally came back to the Lexus family. My first car was a 93' GS300 that I sold with 192k miles. 2 Infiniti G's later...I knew I'd come back to the Lexus GS family. Last week I picked up a L/Certified 2013 F-sport with 29k miles. I didn't plan on getting it, but it's my ideal color combo and the 6-speed auto I wanted. I didn't think they'd budge on the price or my trade...but they did and I ended up getting the price I wanted out the door. I'm enjoying the BSM and the smooth, yet sporty ride. It's definitely a change from the G37 Sport I traded in. This car is immaculate, and I couldn't be happier! Knock on wood...my Infiniti had so many rattles and this one has zero. It's definitely bigger than my wife's IS250.

I was a few days away from picking up a brand new G37S back in 2012. I just happened to drive by y local Lexus dealer and they had a CPO 2013 GS F-Sport around the same price for the new G. I test drove it and was sold. I couldn't be happier. The G is nice but the 4GS is so much more car. Enjoy her in good health!

Amen to that, best car I've owned so far. It behaves when I feel like cruising, it misbehaves when I am feeling like mischief.

Congratz! I'm loving the white color. I see you're in Austin, I am in Houston myself..

You really traded up! We have a '13 G37 Vert and the interior is so far behind the newer cars and, as you said, rattles are everywhere. Our lease is up in June and we will probably go with another Audi. BTW, I did own a '13 GS F Sport for 3 years and loved it. I just wanted something a bit smaller. Went to a '15 S5, but that was too small. Our current '17 A4 fits the bill with virtually no trade-offs.
I still think the GS F-Sport is beautiful. Congrats!

We are on our second GS350, having just picked up a new ’16 GS F Sport. Both times we also crossed shopped the Infiniti Q50 (amongst others), but I don’t think the Q50 is in the same league as GS. The GS seems much more luxurious and premium. The one area where the Q50 rules is in the engine dept. I drove the Q50 Red Sport and with 400 HP it was killer. If all you care about is power, this would be a good car for you! I do like the Infiniti product though; my other car is a 2003 Infiniti G35 couple that I have owned since new.I absolutely love the car and it is a blast to drive every single time behind the wheel…believe me it was manufactured in full time sport mode! That being said, Infiniti hasn’t made anything since to lure me back……although the new Q60 coupe may (but then there’s the Corvette)!!
