I didn't realize how much of an annoyance this would be but if you are in a rush and want to reverse out, the back up camera's view is obstructed by a banner that comes down "transfer completed" "usb device connected" taking up a good portion of the top half of the screen when you first start the car. pretty inconvenient if you have to rely on that backing out.

Get into the practice of backing in, so next time you drive, you don't need to reverse and no worrying about pedestrians and cross traffic either.

Also ensures you don't curb munch your front lip.

I always back in even though my car is garage kept; It's so much easier looking forward when you head out into the street.

Try this out:

Open Menu, and go to Setup. Then, phone, and then, phone display settings. In that, you should see options to disable the display of that status
