Default 2016 GS 350 RWD pricing/discount

Hi Everyone - Thanks for a great forum. I finally have registered and we are considering a GS. I was recently offered about 23% off, $12400 off on a $52815 car. It is a 2016 with 18 miles. Is this a good deal? Thanks for your feedback.

Thanks, that is what I thought but wanted to check with you more experienced Lexus guys. The total out of the door price is about $44100.

Usually the RWD versions go for a little bit less as you pay extra for the all-wheel drivetrain. OP: That's a great deal! Go for it!

dealers do not "offer" such a steep discount unless they lowballed big time on the trade in. Unless you are a professional negotiator and had been going back and forth for weeks. Wonder if anything happened to the new vehicle

Thanks for your feedback. I did not have a trade in, it was a straight purchase. I am also not a professional negotiator as my profession has nothing to do with cars. I gave them a price, they countered and I accepted, total took less than 10 min. The new vehicle was fine as I had 8 to pick from. All 2016 and new. I think this is just the time of the year where the dealer is willing to deal. I did purchased the car BTW.
PS. This is my second Lexus with the same sales person but not the same dealership. He moved to a different dealership.
