So my maintenance reminder keeps displaying on my screen so am due for oil change and tire rotation. I am thinking twice about doing I found out by the dealer today it would cost 100 plus tax just for oil change and tire rotation is another 60 plus tax is this the going price or not?

I paid $90 for an oil change so that sounds about right. in terms of tire rotation... thats a bit excessive. Some places offer free rotations coupons and as low as $10 sometimes

I paid $73.49 for my oil and filter change at local Lexus dealer after $10 credit for getting it done on Saturday including taxes and shop fees. Shop fee is $3.99 btw.

.....paid my Independent Lexus mechanic $25.00. He charged me only for the filter and labor. I bought my Mobil 1 from Walmart.

Take it to a Toyota dealer, they charge you A LOT less.

That's about what I do put full synthetic oil and oem filter so I know what my car is getting.

That's only if you buy tires from them though. But I will say they have the best prices and the most knowledgeable sales people you are going to find anywhere.

Check the Lexus dealer's website for coupons. Usually they'll also match coupons from another Lexus dealer in the state. I do it every time with mine and pay $69.99 + Taxes and fees.

My Discount Tire rotates and balances the tires on all my vehicles - including vehicles that have OE tires. I suspect they do this to gain customers...much like when they fix flat tires for anyone at no-charge.
