Default Lexus GS 350 F sport 2014

Ok I'm in a dilemma. I have been needing new tires for a few weeks now due to my existing tires always getting flats. I decided to wait till costco had a promotion which started yesterday. I came in to special order my tires then realizing they are on back order for another 6-8 weeks.

Currently I have Michelin super sport tires 235/4019 front and 265/4019 on rear. Since they are on back order for at least 6-8 weeks. America's Tire company suggested going a size bigger to 245/4019 and 275/4019 in the rear. They are reassuring me these won't effect the driving, turns, or fit. They said I won't even feel the difference. Is this true? Should I go bigger? Costco and Sams club won't be any other tire size on my car other than what the manufactured recommends. America's Tire Co says in there system That these bigger tires are still recommended. Please Help! I need to decdie by tomorrow morning

Have you asked other dealers such as Tire Rack if they would price match?

This is exactly my question, except mine are 234/45/18 all around. Would love to try the Pilot Sport 4, however they only come in 245/45/18. Currently using ContiSportContact 5 and I'm loving them... but they don't last and are quite soft /:

I'm pretty sure I read in another thread where a few ppl had upsized to those tire specs without any issues. One even said it gave them more rim protection when it came time to parallel park. I'm still on stock tires so i can speak from personal experience.

You're fine with the additional 10mm width on the tires. A lot of people on CL have gone this route and have had no issues.

I'm running Michelin Pilot Sport A/S+ 245/40/19 on the front and 275/35/19 on the rear of my 2014 GS350 F Sport without issue. My car is not lowered.
