I am new here. Is there a way to disable the Navigation so that you can enter an address while moving? Thanks.

You'd have to install a module to the back of the radio. I haven't yet, but looking to do it soon. The module also allows you to play DVDs while in motion. A couple options listed below. Heard good things from both.

You can do this via voice command while moving (Enter an Address). Remember to say house numbers individually. Works well.

I was going to get one of the override solutions provided in the thread if the voice command was a pain but so far so good. The voice command in my 2013 works very well and I actually prefer it over 'keying' in the address with the mouse.

True! And if that driver causes critical injuries or death, and it is learned they made this modification, there's mega-huge legal trouble ahead for that individual.

This kind of stuff really irratates me coming from being rear ended 4 times by distracted drivers. The company that makes the device to enable the DVD player should be liable! kamskeez should let us all know when he's driving watching Lord of the Rings so we can steer clear of him!

Haha, I would definitely NOT be watching while driving. Just saying that's an added feature to the bypass. Extremely dangerous!

Although putting in an address while driving is a distraction as well, that's definitely a feature I want to be able to have.
