Typically the speed limiter is set to match the speed rating of the OEM tires

In the UK 155 mph (249, we'll call it 250 Km/h) is quoted for GS450h. I can't imagine that the battery can contribute anything at top speed the engine is using all its power driving the wheels. Charging the battery to then drive the wheels won't make it any faster.

Has anyone done this? Maybe traction control off + sport plus mode would bypass limiter?

I've hit the limiter. Stops at an indicated 143mph. I used Sport S+ mode but did not disable traction control. It's unlikely that would bypass the limiter. You'd need an ECU tune or something along those lines to do so. That said, I don't think there's all that much oomph left at those speeds. Not sure it'd go that much faster. The wind/road noise at 143 is absolutely insane, downright scary, tbh.

RRracing tuner unlocks the limiter, I was 142 ish before I installed the tuner, 161 after. And you’re right it runs out of power, I was in S+ at 6k in 7th gear and there was nothing left.

I've done it in Sport+ with traction control and VSC off and its still 143mph.
