Default Suede wrist pad from GS F to 4GS

So I recently saw that the 2016 GS F has a suede wrist pad and I was wondering if anybody has this on their 4GS
This is the part number:89279-30170

It looks more comfortable than what we get. It looks like it just swaps right out.

I would be curious about this too, the only issue I would be concerned about is cleaning it. The "leather" seems like it would be easier to clean in the unfortunate event that something spills on it.

Does anyone know how to remove the wrist pad part? Thinking of swapping mine out with the 2016 leather version cause I accidentally made a deep scratch on that part and figured it shouldn't be too expensive anyway.

heres a pic

I just replaced mine due to a tear on my 2013 and it is held in with two plastic clips which i used a plastic pry tool to remove. Very easy to do just take your time so you dont damage anything.

Use a interior plastic pry tool and pry at the two ends, you will hear/feel it pop up. I swapped mune out in like 30 seconds.

Pull back the armrest
Put your fingers underneath the edge of the wrist pad( side next to remote touch )
Lay your arm down and pull up your fingers.
It is held by 2 clips wich come out really easy.

Please do share your input as to how the swap process was! I would be interested in doing this too.

I was searching on mylparts.com but it looks like the 2016 parts are not added to the list. If someone else finds out pls share I'm also interested.
