Yes, the rotors should last longer if u change ur pads more often, meaning don't wait until they're completely worn out. I think I can get 3 pads life before replacing my rotors. They're still thick even at 25k miles.
nice video, although i'd highly recommend a hydraulic jack as those scissor jacks are super flimsy and with too much force on working with wrenches, that can twist and fall.
