Default Driver monitor system (does it work when wearing glasses?)

Friends,

Page 292 of the GS450 manual states

When the system determines that there is a possibility of a collision, and
either the driver is not facing forward or the driver’s eyes are closed,
PCS warnings are given in advance to warn the driver. If the system
determines that the conditions to operate pre-collision alert braking
have been met even when the possibility of a collision increases further,
pre-collision alert braking will operate.

Does this device work if the driver is wearing glasses, particularly sun glasses?

Thanks,

T.

Haven't tried it (still awaiting my delivery) but why not just test it?

Live testing it would be dangerous, because I would need to put the car and myself into a crash situation to see whether the DMS would detect it.

Does it signal driver when it assumes their eyes are closed or when their eyes are closed + PCS decides an accident is about to happen?
