Default Depreciation on 2013-2014 GS 350 Fsports

Hi all.
I've had my eye on a 2013-2014 F-sport for about two months now. I have a Passat TDI that VW will buyback in October (dieselgate).

My basic question/request is for you all to look into your crystal ***** and predict how low the the price of these model will go down between now and December. I'm in NJ and there are plenty of F-sports on autotrader for sale. Will Lexus do anything special to move these cars?
I've been looking at 2013-2014 Fsprots with a range of milage from 17K to 45k. the range of price seems to be $29k up to $38K.

Any thoughts based on your experience with Lexus about how depreciation will impact these cars come Decmeber? I know this is a vague question, but my hope is that Lexus will have trouble moving these cars and there will be steep discounts.

Thanks in advance....I trust I will see a substnatial upgrade from a 2013 Passat TDI to a 2013 Fsport....

You can lease a CPO now, have you looked into that? For some of us who purchased the car and don't intend to upgrade as quickly as folks who lease, long term reliability is more important than resale value.

I have a 2013, fully loaded, that I leased back in August of 2013. 12k mileage allowance. My original buyout price was 35k+. I extended my lease (to watch for December deals on another one) and by February, with an estimated 42k miles on it, the buyout price will be 32.25k. Take that price and add a grand or two for CPO and you'll get a better idea of retail used pricing.

Thanks guys. I plan on purchasing.

Should I expect any major reductions in pricing come December from your experience?

I was recently looking at the prices myself here in TX. Our pricing might vary a bit. Basic 2015 GS350 FSports are 39-42K the 2014s are about 30k-32K. Im thinking the drop would be another 5-7k when the 2017's are announced. Its all about supply and demand in the area as well. TX and FL are big on Lexus, so there's a lot expiring leases and these used car dealership will wholesale/auction them before they let them sit on their lot for too long.
