Paint Protection Film...
From the factory not installed aftermarket. Looking at the lot tonight and saw a new LS with it installed for $429 on the window sticker. I know it's offered on the GS... but noticed it was only applied to the hood and front fenders. I looked very close at the front bumper and it was not installed on it. Seemed strange to me since the bumper gets the most abuse. Anyone here have a new one that came with the film applied from the factory???

never, the dealer only does half the hood and fenders never bumper or headlights, u rather get it with out it and get the whole front end done, thats what I did on my 16 , I covered full hood fenders, headlights, grill, bumper, dooe pockets, door edges, rocker panels, I am not taking any chances, its not worth it.

What is the price for a clear bra to cover the whole front end?
Are these made specifically for the car or is it universal? I ask b/c i will put on an aftermarket lip and need that to be protected!

Ymmv. A lot of variables; mainly brand and installer. Also you want to make sure your paint is corrected before its put on.

There are a few of these at my local dealer. They apply the film at the port like many accessories, for example, the rear bumper appliqué. The film they use is not the best. The white IS they have at my dealer is pretty yellow and it has always been in the showroom since they got it.

We are getting our asses handed to us here in the metro plex with construction....I drive DNT/SRT to work and the damn rock haulers are so careless
you should get into paint correction yourself...for what you are going to pay to have it done you can buy all the stuff yourself, very easy to do just takes time

what color is your car first, if its whaite I would not recommend doing half a hood u will get blk dirt line where the bra ends and u will hates it, if its dark ur ok I would do the whole hood, on my 13 GS I did half a hood and I end up taking it out on my 16 I did full front and I opti coated on top , and I also I had my Lexon front spoiler wrapped in the clear bra.
