Default Can the ML navigation system play home burnt DVD-Rs?

I am thinking of downloading a few youtube videos and burning them to a DVD-R in video format so I can watch them in the car. Anybody have success doing this? If so, what brand discs worked?

Yeah, I've done it before. DVD-R's will work. Although the sources were mp4 files with standard audio formats, not Youtube downloads. Still, you can't watch them in motion without a hack or two, but the audio will play in the background.
