Default Roof Wrap!

Anyone got their roof wrapped? Cost? Did you remove the antenna?

*Updated - DIY roof wrap complete. Difficulty I would say 8/10

Had mine wrapped last week. Had a friend of a friend do it at his shop. He did remove the shark fin antenna and wrapped it using two pieces of vinyl. Don't have many pictures but here are a few.

That looks awesome. I am going to attempt to do mine by myself. I call around is average prices are $250-300. The same material used 3M 1080 Scotch-guard is only $70 for a 5x6ft on Amazon.

thanks! I had received quotes similar to yours but a little higher, closer to $375. I found out a friend of a friend recently opened up a shop so I was able it get it done for $150.

Looks soooooo good!!!!! I'm been debating doing this on my GS too.

Sevn86, you stated it was done in two pieces? Where is the cut off line or joining line between the two pieces?

I think he was referring to the XM Antenna aka the Sharkfin not the entire roof.

Looks great. May i suggest you get the roof trim done in black too. It flows better with the front and rear windsheild

That shark fin is impossible to wrap in one piece, and if you do, i'm sure you will have discoloration from over stretching

I wanted to wrap my roof also but the way the lines matched up, turned me off to it. Looks a bit off with the front windshield borders wider than the roof line.

Thanks! Yeah I originally wanted to get the roof trim pieces done but I was running late for a closing and had to leave. So I actually have to go back and get it finished. Plus my antenna is starting to peel in one area. Just noticed it today. Installer said he will take care of it.

With the roof trim wrapped, the lines flow better...

Just finished wrapping my roof yesterday night. I will post pics later on today.
