Default Amazing what happens in 11 years

Last week traded in my '02 SC for a '13 GS AWD. The the technological changes and betterments are astounding. Very different direction from the cars I've been used to: '03 SC300, '96 LS, '01 LS and the SC. Never bought a new car but the CPO program makes it even more assuring. Driving will be so much better except for a nice sunny day when my wife and I went "topless".

What's more amazing is it took you over 12 years for your first post! Congrats!

Lol that's pretty funny. I agree though I still own my 2002 Gs300 for a commuter car and I have a 2014 Gs350 and the difference is huuuuge. I love my 2014 my friends say the inside looks like a hitman's car ha. I also had a 93 ES300 and even that beast ran like a champ. Great cars. Love em and safe to say I'll be a Lexus customer for a long time. The dream for me is that GSF 😈

Agreed...One interesting change for me was having an '01 GS with the touchscreen interface/navigation and over the last decade with the proliferation of touchscreen devices, the newer GSs came with a NON-touch screen interface!

Lots of pro's and cons to having a touchscreen interface in a car and i'm still hoping they move back toward the touchscreen - my personal preference still leans toward this methodology.

But - the mouse-like controller isn't bad - just different...

Read the post in the Chat sub-forum on the young person taking responsibility and you'll understand why I don't post.
