I didn't know that! I guess I've never been signalling at the same time as the BSM was triggered. Or, maybe the 2013 doesn't have the audible BSM...

Mine still doesn't give an audio alert. If there's a car in my blind spot, the indicator in the mirror illuminates. If I turn on my turn signal, the indicator flashes, but no noise.

Audible on bsm should be on I turned the other day without looking at the blinking side view mirrors and almost hit my car.

I don't think my BSM has an audible option.

If I turn on my turn signal when a car is detected by the BSM the indicator in the side mirror flashes, but there is no audible alert.

Obviously mine is the same way, however the owner's manual mentions a buzzer. When I pick up my license plates I'll ask the dealer.

Does anyone's GS 350, regardless of year, have BSM with audible alert?

I don't remember seeing that option in the Carista app either.

I have never seen anything that would indicate an audible alarm for the BSM - VERY disappointing. I just wrote it off as stupid decision by someone at Lexus. I can't imagine NOT providing a switchable tone for this function.

I'm thankful the BSM isn't audible. That would drive me nuts.

My prior cars either vibrated the steering wheel or provided an audible alert. Of course this was only when you had the turn signal on and someone was in a blind spot. This was much more useful than just the flashing light.

My issue with that is I have multiple left turns at stop lights with two left turn lanes on my way to work each morning. As I use the center left turn lane, the alarm would be going off through the whole turn.

The GS 350's BSM is disabled below 20 mph, so (if it was audible) in most cases turns at intersection wouldn't set-off the audible alert.

No, it's 5 mph. It goes off flashing like crazy in those intersections so it would absolutely be audible in those intersections.

It's actually 10 mph, which is rather slow. I don't recall ever experience the flashing, even though I've got a lot of double turn lane intersections where I travel.
