Default Anyone put a dash cam in their GS350?

I have this sudden interest in dash cams, just curious to know if any of you guys have them and which model you use? I just ordered the Rexing V1 from Amazon.

I recently ordered the following DUAL CAM SYSTEM. Can record BOTH front and back.About $85.oo

Before this one my wife had ordered from a TV shopping channel a Polaroid branded dash cam (front only). I remembered it was cheaper by about $20 or so. But I could not make out the license plate number of the car in front of me. So we returned it.

The one below from Amazon worked well. We took it out on our trip to the mountains of CO. We were able to retrieve and save the files recorded by the dash cam on scenic routes. The front cam is a stunning g 1080p whole the back cam is only 720p.

The more expensive units will have more features, but I think this unit will have a good balance of price and value.

Here is the link:

It's not in my GS, but I have the Street Guardian in my 911. With the right SD card it can store 24+ hours of crystal clear video. You can also check out the dash cam forums for other options.

I use the following dash cam. It is a 'wedge' style so it stays very compact and hidden. It tucks very discretely behind the rear view mirror in the windshield. I have had only one person ever notice it and that was because he was the tint installer.

One time when I took my car to the dealer for work, I recorded the audio of the porter rifling through my change drawer and taking some money.

It works well and is a very clear wide angle 1080P so I can read plates easily and it captures scenery to the side front of the the vehicle as well. The microphone is very sensitive and captures sounds well also.
There are also accessories you can attach for GPS to record speed, etc.

This one look very much like the one I got from Amazon for $85. (even the buttons and the LCD screen looked the same ) Not $285 as in yours. Maybe yours is "BETTER", IDK. I believe both got the same Novatek processor chipset.
