Default Mystery clicking noise from the A-pillar

I have a 2015 GS350 F Sport (RWD). A clicking noise occurs during breaking and acceleration, but only sporadically. It seems to occur more often during heavy breaking and/or acceleration. The sound seems to be coming from the driver's side A-pillar or the driver's side dash at any rate. Sometimes the sound is a single click and sometimes it clicks up to 3 times. Any ideas?

Quite a few views, but no comments yet. I guess this is something that others are not experiencing. I'll address it at my next service visit with the dealership.

Check to see if you have anything lying in the small compartment just above the trunk release button (near driver's left knee)

jj14, that was a very educational recommendation. I did not even know that compartment was there. Unfortunately, as I did not previously know of its existence, there was nothing inside it. Thanks anyway. Keep up the good work though!

You sure its actually coming from the A pillar? I have a constant clicking noise in my 15 GS and its actually coming from the headliner around the sunroof. I doubt my dealer will do anything about it.

No, I am not certain where the noise is truly coming from, but it does seem to be the driver's side A-pillar. It could be the driver's side of the dash or even something up at roof level though.

Did you say that you car has a constant clicking? That would be old fast.

If I am thinking of the correct pillar you are referring to, I had the same issue.. its the driver side pillar that goes down from the door window down the windshield and meets the dash. I didnt open it but I thought that one of the wires or pieces of plastic was rattling against the actual pillar trim... I ended up putting a piece of thick paper between the trim plastic and the dashboard and it never rattled again.
