Sorry if it's been discussed before i did search the forum and couldn't find it. So want to change the boring yellow lights to LEDs. Do I need to open the whole mirror assembly or can I just open the cover underneath the assembly and work from there. Thanks

Ok yes I did remove the mirror on my IS and till today it shakes when i go on free way and I couldn't put it back I properly. So I'm gonna just leave it as it is. Thanks for the link.

My driver door side mirror assembly rattles each time I close my door after changing out the lights. I can live with the rattle as I no longer have to look at the yellow lights.
