I've searched and can't find this, I know some of the newer systems support it. Can I get the speed limit of the current road displayed on the Nav system of a '14 GS? Would a map upgrade give me this? I believe I have the 2013 map data (original?) presently installed.

I just left the stealership and that was somewhat my question too. We don't have the HD map but will have to find if an update would correct that. I will say after being in a demo that had it, I still like my phone better. ☺

I believe the speed limit was added in the nav system update for the 15 model year. I don't believe you can update the previous versions to have this function.

Pretty sure this is not an option on the navigation, I know BMW and Audi do it but I'm pretty sure its not an option on our GS vehicles, or I have been missing out on it.

Thanks for the input. That is unfortunate, I was hoping a map update could give me that. While I do prefer searching on the phone, and it is far faster, I do like having that info available on the car screen.

It's on my tiny 7" screen in my GX.

13-14 have XM traffic, 15 has HD radio traffic. XM could start including it, but that would (I'm guessing) mean that Lexus would need to do an operating system update too.

Oh that's what the "HD" meant. Too bad for me since I have a '14, but I wouldn't have paid extra just for this.
