Default 2017 gs

Anyone holding out for a 2017 GS 350?I am thinking about getting a 2016 but really want the triple beam headlights.Looks like the only way to get them is to special order. Was wondering if any has heard or think they might be standard on the 2017's?I would be upset if i bought a 2016 only to see the 2017's come with the triple beam headlights.

Highly doubt Lexus will ever make them standard. Buy the 2016 now and in a year or so buy used tripple leds.

There is a strong chance the 2017 will not have much change at all, especially in terms of triple LED headlights.

is it really worth to wait till they come out with 2017 and what if it didn't come with tripe LED headlights? gonna be a waste of time to wait for something that's not happening

I thought about doing that.Just wonder if the wires and connectors at the headlights are the same.Might not be plug and play.Have to do some rewiring.

They do look a lot better.but your right its not worth waiting if there is no chance of them being on the 2017's.I don't see why Lexus would at least send some to the dealers here in the U.S. with that option to see how they sell.Get some feedback on what people think of them.I am sure they put out better light at night than the regular lights. Can even go to a Honda dealership and buy a touring model accord or civic with Honda's version of the L.E.D lights and they cost half as much as what the GS price is.

It's possible Lexus might add it as an option for 2017, since they do minor tweaks year to year. But I'd say the chances of them doing it are slim. I'd wait till they start rolling the 2017's out and see if it's offered, if not then you could possibly get a 2016 with a decent discount.

Lexus is using headlights as a major differentiation on their F series cars. For example, the RC doesn't get LED triple L's but the RCF does. Same goes for the GS. I don't see them changing this for the US market. Sucks, but their marketing team decided this was a good idea.

In a way it is. If I had a GSF, I'd want you to know it, at night, from the lights alone.

This is technically incorrect as the 2016 GS450h can be optioned with the triple-beam headlights, although i'm unsure of whether that applies to the GS350, so your point is still somewhat valid.

Proof - There is a Nebula Gray Pearl GS450h F Sport available at a California dealership that has the triple-beams headlights.
