When sitting in my car with my phone (iPhone6) in my left pocket, the bluetooth signal shown on the car screen is only one bar and sometimes the music cuts in and out when streaming to the car. The only time I get full bars of bluetooth signal from the car is if I put the phone around the center console/radio. When I am in other cars (loaners, etc.), the bluetooth signal from my phone in my pocket is fine.

Are others experiencing poor bluetooth reception by the car? If so, what was the resolution?

It is just jeans or shorts. Maybe my thighs are too thick. Have been putting on a few extra pounds lately...

Davenlei it's not your bluetooth... it's a cell phone reception getting worse next to human body inside the car

My phone is still detected (successfully connected) by the car when I leave the phone in my kitchen, which is some 25'-30' and two walls away from the garage where the car is parked. It actually surprised me to see that the phone was detected and successfully connected from the kitchen the first time I saw it.

So I asked the dealer about it when I was there for something else and two of the service techs tried connecting their phones and having the phone in their pockets. They stayed at 3 bars. When they tried my phone, it did the one bar in the pants pocket thing. It looks like the problem is my phone. Maybe the bluetooth antenna is dislodged or something...

I use Spotify on my phone thru bluetooth and I have my phone laying next to me on the side of the seat ontop of the cushion and my music sometimes skips or lags too. I have full bars though.

But try impairing the phone with the system and repairing it and see if that makes a difference. If that doesn't work, time to pull out the Jane Fonda workout tapes lol.
