Default 6000K headlights

Anybody know what we have to do to run 6000K HID lights in our cars? I was told I would have to change the entire light system to do this

All you have to do is buy 6000k light bulbs and swap them out with the OEM ones. Be sure to buy quality bulbs when you do.

Ok cool. And how about the fog lights. I like having the 3000K yellow fogs. Can I also just swap the bulb?

No, for the fogs you need to buy HID ballasts first.

You can also just replace the fogs with yellow halogen bulbs to save some time, energy and money. I believe the 2nd Gen GS that you still have has a standard halogen fog lamp bulb but capsules in the housing make it output a yellow color.

I have the PIAA Ion Yellow H11 bulbs in my fogs:

Do you have any pics of your fog lights?

Definitely nice and I'm sure cheaper than concerning to HID in the fog lights. Looks like a plan lol and that's with 6000K headlights?

I have the stock headlamp bulbs which i believe are at 4300k if i'm not mistaken from the factory.

You can find other options out there by companies like iJDMToy (http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Slim-Digita...ersion-kit.htm)

Get a set of Philips ultinon 6000k D4S.

I have it on my car looks beautiful. I paid $240 for mine but I found a better deal at retrofit + has 2 years warranty I would definitely get it from them if the price is not a issue.
