My sister just bought a 2013 GS 350 AWD. I know the cd drive takes mp3 format and I am planning to burn a cd mp3 for her. Can I burn a DVD mp3 since it holds more songs? Does it accept 4.7gb or 8.5gb dvd mp3 data format?

Also, I have the ipod classic 140gb and have plenty of songs, i am planning to give it to her. Is the connection easy as plugging in the usb port?

The car plays dvd video. So ya u should be able to burn dvd rom no probs. the iPod is plug and play.

Does the 2013 GS350 have a USB port/input? I have my entire 283 album collection in mp3s on a USB drive. So nice to be able to listen to albums when traveling.

i saw videos where the ipod plugin doesn't do anything.

When you say "iPod plugin", what are you referring to? They're all just USB ports. The GS has 1 or 2 USB ports inside the armrest, if I remember correctly.

The GS won't play video from an iPod without a special cord, and then the car has to be in park with the emergency brake on...unless you have the bypass installed.

got the mp3 usb and 1,300 mp3 @ 320kps bitrate, nice radio. sounds better than my lx 470 mark levinson

FLAC doesn't work.. I tried..

2 USB drives in the car.. for Ipod, it's as easy as plugging into the port.

Not sure if it'll play the MP3's off a DVD.. never tried.

sister complains radio will not lower when voice navigation is on? even my 2007 lx does this.
