Did I overpay for my 350 non f sport?
Here's the story of my deal I purchased from Lexus of Rockville Centre.I bought the car in June I didn't do much research I saw it on the lot and knew I wanted it.Now I do believe I overpaid and was ripped off by the dealer? How come and why did they do this to me. I plan to keep it for another two years and then sell it or trade in. I traded in my sc for this car I don't believe they went lower on the cpo price I will post all details needed. The car was purchased with uneven tire thread depths on each tire so now I will have to buy tires soon but will shop around. I financed the car through TD Auto at 3.5% if not mistaken also did the remote start and added 2 more year warranty for two thousand dollars more after all documents was processed I paid 39,995 for a 2 year old car with 24k miles am I an idiot? wish I never bought this car sometimes. I don't have ML it has cold weather pkg BSM Headlight washers pretty much it.Very disappointed in Lexus CPO program that only your first oil change is complimentary and not the whole thousand mile interval job that needs to be done.

CPO requirements on tires are 5/32, it's probable on a GS that at 24K the car's original tires didn't pass and it got 2 or even 4 new ones. If I have a car with 2 that more than pass and 2 that fail, we don't (And neither do any of my competitors) just replace all of them.
Hardly any have ML, I wouldn't sweat that it doesn't have it.
Since January 5, CPO includes up to 4 services.

That's the trade in value, dealers are only willing to pay $34K for my car. Last year I had them appraised my car and it was $35K. So if mine is valued this low u should not be paying $40K for a non FSport, even with dealer mark ups.
But u know, it's already done so just enjoy the car! We all got screwed sometimes in life anyway.

No, you did not get ripped off. Especially on a CPO with extra 2 years warranty, remote, and taxes.
Not a killer deal, but far from ripped off...
Sounds like the car was the color combo you wanted. People will pay the extra $1k for the exact color combo, especially on a used car

The typical GS F-Sport that I buy sucks up $2500 in the shop and CPO costs another $1395. Figure detail, fix a few curb rashed wheels...
My typical margin on one is $2188 over the last 60 days.

I bought my two year old GS AWD Lux with ML, BSM, paking sensors, pearl white on flax, and 18" factory chrome wheels - with 19k miles for $33k but non-CPO. My daily driver has 33k miles now but the tires still have about 10k left on them. The only issue I have right now are rattles near my left ear which I could not pin point, the other rattles, I already fixed by removing the panels and plastics then wrapping them with electrical and or foam tapes. My experience with buying vehicles, if you're not happy within the first six months of purchase - you might as well be thinking about getting something else because it is difficult to achieve full enjoyment by driving it alone.

I bought my 2013 GS350 premium version around the same time you did. July 11th, 2015 to be exact. It had 20,9xx miles on it. I paid $35,065 plus TTL and dealer fees. Total was 37,xxx and change. During that time 2013 F sports were selling for 40k and up. CPO 2013 GS premium version at Lexus dealers were selling in the high 30's close to 40k with no negotiations. I didn't feel buying a CPO Lexus was necessary. Still had plenty of factory warranty left and with my past experience with my RX, I wasn't worried. At that time I felt I got a great deal on my car. Now you can get a 2013 2014 GS Premium version between 29-35k with mileage in the 20-30k range.
