Default 245/35/19 up front

Anyone consider the 245/35/19 instead of 245/40/19 on the front with 275/35/19 in the rear....

I don't know what that means....it seems that with the 245/40/19 the sidewall tends to be taller then the oem 235/40/19

I did on my mobile and took the time to reply after finding the link and copying it etc BUT I misread your 2nd tire value. To me it would make no sense to go with a smaller rolling diameter as your speed will be off and your wheel gap would increase though. Is there a reason you are considering that size?

I was curious, I just appears that the 245/40 tire is a bit taller then the oem size, and thought maybe the 35 profile might be closer to oem

Nope. 245/40 is actually closer:

I just replaced all four tires yesterday (had over 20K miles on OEM Bridgestone Potenzas) with Michelin Super Sport A/S 3s. I got all four out the door for close to $1100 at American Tire Depot. Right now there is also a $70 rebate on Michelin's. However, when I got home i realized I had mistakenly asked for (in the fronts) 245/35R19s...I drove back and the manager said he would exchange them on Monday for no cost. That said, I have to admit that I was expecting these tires to be much quieter as other forums suggest. I didn't really notice it. The ride seems fine but what am I missing?
