Default Questions on CPO '13 GS350 F-Sport

Greetings and Salutations,

I have begun to look for a CPO '13 GS350 F-Sport. F-Sport primarily for heavier steering which I love and thicker steering wheel. To me the driving experience should be about basic driving not the gizmotronics they put in.
Anyway, does the F-Sport (RWD) come with a spare-tire, even when there may be run-flats on the car?
I found these two, similar options yet the lower mileage one (2013)
http://www.lcpo.com/VehicleDetails/c...-CA/2714047143
is less expensive than the higher mileage one (2014)
http://www.lcpo.com/VehicleDetails/c...-CA/2700139083
Are there any known issues with the 2013s, being first model year?
Those of you who recently bought a cpo in SoCal, how much off sticker should one expect to get, realistically?
Thanks in advance

you should be fine and all come with spare tires and the GS does not use run lat tires, and you have room to bargain with it, I don't see y not.

I was previously in your position. I can tell you that for that 2014, that is a pretty good price if the car is indeed immaculate. I am very meticulous when it comes to buying anything even if it is used. I was able to get about $4K off the online pricing after days of negotiating. It got to the point they wanted to back out of the deal because they could of sold the car to someone else for more.

If you pay around $34-36k for a 2014, then it is a good deal. Even though it had almost 40k miles, I don't think it's that high compared to some of the other ones I've seen.

The nice thing you have to consider from a 2013 to 2014 is that the 14 has the option of automatic folding mirrors which I think are very cool feature to have. Also the 14 will have an 8 speed trans compared to the 6 speed you have with the 13's.

Happy hunting.

Also, I forgot to answer your question about the markup/discount to a CPO. Honestly from months of shopping around all the Lexus Dealers in Socal from Crown, Riverside, Longo, Newport, San Diego, Escondido, and Westinster, they stick pretty close to their online prices. Never go off the price on the car.

Depending on how much room they have from the lease return or trade-in, they may have about $4k in profit. Keep in mind another $2k or so goes into certifying the car. So the more deals you work the closer you will get to rock bottom.

+1 for Glendale. I got mine at that dealership. I drove all the way there (and stopped by Portos too ) from Orange County because they gave bigger discounts than some of the other Lexus dealers around Orange and LA County.

Congrats on your new ride. May I ask what was the initial asking price?

Thanks. At the time I was searching (about 3 weeks ago) all the '14 GS FSports were about $39k, I checked back every other day and they lowered the price down to ~$36,8k on the internet listing. As one of the other members mentioned above, these used CPO's have little to no room to negotiate, but I tried anyway. I even left the lot and came back the next day :/

Anyway, ended up purchasing at the ask price.

I also had a buddy check the market price on the car and he said it was about 1-2k below market

Is it the white with the black interior? I remembering checking out one a few weeks ago there with 17k. They wanted like $39k and would not budge. But from what I've seen within the last few weeks, the prices have drop tremendously.

Nice! Congrats! I ended up driving to Westminster where I had another 14 Ultra White F Sport that I had previously driven. They were about to lower the care from $39k to $36,400k about a month ago. Newport also had one but they did not want to play ball.

I think we got ours for a steal being that it is about $1800 below market value for the car. But based on how fast the cars been depreciating, it will be worth next to nothing within a few years.
