I have 20's 245/35/20 front 275/30/20 rears and currently running anywhere between 34 to 37 psi. I feel that's too low but the shop that installed my rims put them to that pressure... Is that a good tire pressure? I would think I should be between 40 to 45... Thoughts??

Just go with what the door says with 3 psi more thats what my shop has been doing so I'm usually around 38 psi on all four tires.

Always start high & adjust from there while monitoring tread wear.

Thanks for your input... I kinda feel the steering wheel a bit heavy that's why I feel the pressure is low. I am going to see what the door and tires say.

I set mine at 36 (cold) psi for all four tires and it gets up to 39/40 psi when the tires are warmed up. This is on an AWD f sport.

40-45 psi is to high....I would say 35-37 is good

i set mine 36 front and 37 rear in morning. for 2015 AWD

During the spring and summer it is typical for the tire pressure to increase 6 psi or more from overnight 'cold' pressure. The day's temperature warms up 20° (≥2 psi), plus driving on them (≥2 psi), and the sun's radiation heats them up (≥2 psi) can easily add up to 6 psi or more.

I cannot imagine why anyone would set their tire pressure when 'cold' so high that the tire pressure would reach 40 psi or higher at peak.

I ride higher when on rims.. Id rather replace a tire than a bent wheel. 42 all around is typically what I do on 20s

For AWD models the door jam sticker calls for 35/36 psi for the front/back tires when "cold". When the tires are "warmed" up they will easily reach 38-40 psi.

shop aired my tires up to 42psi.. riding on 245/40 and 275/35 ventus v12's.

I really cannot imagine why the recommended cold tire pressure would be that high. The tires must give a nice boing sound every time it runs over the tiniest crack.
