Finally Got My Car Back!!
After a long month waiting for my car from the collision center I finally picked it up yesterday, although it looks good I'm probably still gonna trade it in but more likely in 2 years as I'm buying a house so will have to wait. The car def seems like it makes a noise now, and the bumper doesn't look straight to me, but i'm more **** about the way my car looks than anyone else, to bring things to perspective the final invoice was 12 pgs long.
I also brought my car in to my guy to check the coil over and replace it, we found another problem the bushing is broken on the coil over so now we have to wait for another part.

Once a car has been hit, it will never be the same, that's why I only lease cars so I can just walk away when it's done.

Disagree... depends on damage! Plus nowadays good collision shops have computerized frames + laser technology that could bring everything back together by 0.1mm. I only drive salvage cars for past 12 years and never had problems. Overall I saved tons of $$$ that makes me happy

Glad to hear you got your whip back Black. Sucks about the coilovers and the noise issue, are they related?
Dont know what Id do without my car for so long, did they give you a loaner?
Also I saw another thread where you got new wheels, are they for the GS?
keep us posted

I've had cars with accident history, if the work is done right at a quality shop the car will perform just like one that hasn't. Trust me I drove one of these for 8 years, the accident happened on the 2nd year of ownership. I see auto damage daily in my line of work. Depends on who repairs it.

Yes, it's not the same if ur OCD, like me too. Once my car's been hit I always know it is damaged, no matter how good the fix is and the only way to really fix it is to get rid of it.

I'm the same bigblack, wifes car got hit in the rear all thought it was just a tap, its on the record so I'm not keeping it.
thinking when its time to resell it, it would hurt the resell value.

So update car kept dying, since they had the car at the collision center and probably killed the battery. Went to dealer and they replaced the battery, my question, does the battery they supply different from the one that comes with the car, sure looks different. I can not recall weather the oem battery is a Panasonic battery vs the new ones.
