Yea this is what I was saying before, just replace the battery to avoid any further headaches.
Dont know how a battery goes dead just by sitting in collision shop though

Me neither but it was becoming annoying.

Glad it's sorted out.

Not surprised. The car is in the shop for a month, its systems are drawing some power, it's started several times to be moved short distances (i.e., with the engine running for 10 minutes at most each time), doors are opened, etc. Every bit counts, and the end result is that not much charging happens in that period. Usually, a proper, full charge takes care of this, but I guess not always.

The Panasonics are (or used to be?) great. GX470 battery went strong for 6+ years, and I got rid of the truck before it needed a battery. LX570 battery, on the other hand, lasted 3 years, and ditto for my LS460L. Dealer replacement is made by Interstate for Lexus, I think.

I had a warranty replacement on 460L. That one lasted a couple years (I did something dumb), and at that point I went with Duralast Gold from AutoZone.

Looks like an interstate battery.
