Turn off traction control/vsc and seat belt chime?
2015 AWD
How do you fully turn off the traction control?
seems like i can press the button and it comes back in a minute. I tried holding it down.
Also, the seat belt chime. I take off my belt once I get in a parking lot, and the chime is annoying as hell.

For traction control, you should only have to hold the button down until the light illuminates on the dash. 5 seconds or so as I recall, then it should stay disengaged.

If you just tap the TC button once, it's temporarily (and partially) disabled until you come to a stop. You have to hold it for a while like JDR was saying to disable it until you turn the car off.
You trying to 4 wheel drift dangerously or what? No seatbelt ding = no seatbelt and no TC in the winter when a big storm is hitting the East Coast?

TC.. I like to turn it off when driving local on roads I know well. Used to more powerful RWD cars.. with AWD, I would hope TC is less necessary. When there's a drop of liquid on the roads, TC is on.
Also TC off doesn't mean drifting.

Hey, it's your car, if you want to sling it sideways be my guest.
I honestly feel sorry for that part of the country though, you have to special order RWD cars right?

I really wanted a RWD GS and use the $$$ saved on a nice set of winter wheels/tires.
During our snow last week, the AWD GS was good in the snow but not as good as my old RWD w winter tires.
AWD/FWD cars feels like the car is doing the work for you. RWD cars, you become one with the car.
Kinda like having your big bro push you on your bike with training wheels while you steer
