I leased a 2016 GS 350 F Sport White/Red 36 months 15K per year in South Florida on Monday.
MSRP $56,950....got them down to $52,370...plus $982.23 in dealer and filling fees for an adjusted Cap Cost of $53,352.83. Monthly rate of $660.38 without tax.

The 15s were in the low $500s, so that means the deal on the 16s must be really bad now.

Just FYI, my 2013 was $700 a month with no negative equity and at the time that was a great deal.
It's all relative. You guys have been spoiled by what are truly incredible lease payments for a car this expensive.
If you guys continue to expect that you're going to be able to drive a $60,000 car for $550 a month with nothing down, you're going to be disappointed. With rates on the rise and all, you better get used to paying $700+ at some point in the future.

Maybe they're trying to get the resale value back up so the leases aren't dirt cheap anymore.

Just to put it even more in perspective the payment on my 2010 ES350 with an MSRP of $42k was $615 a month. That was for 18k miles but still.

My dealer was offering lease options on their used inventory as well which were pretty good if you were looking to save $$$ and be in the latest generation GS for the most affordable per-month lease cost.
They were offering $379 -$399 a month on any two/three year old GS in stock (basically early build '13 GS's that were leased/registered in 2012 and some 2013s). This was for a 36 month lease with $1800 down and up to 15k/miles per year.
Undeniably in a year or two the '16 lease prices will fall rapidly...never thought of leasing a used car, but if its still under full warranty about half of that lease period, why not if you're looking for the best deal?
All this talk about the crazy high prices on the new '16 leases reminds me when my uncle bought a Sony DVD player for about $1100 when they first came out. But he wanted to be an early adopter and had to shell out the money for it...but in my humble opinion, getting in too early in a depreciating investment can be a tough pill to swallow when you hear prices drop not too long after your purchase...

Okay I think see the problem with the leasing now. Back when I got my 2014 GS Sport in late 2013, the residual was at a very nice 70%. Now it's at or around 56%! That explains why the lease numbers are looking funny and $100-200 more than my current lease.

So basically it's better to just buy it out after my lease? Mine will be $30K after my 4 yrs lease.
